Fauda is an Israeli action and thriller drama created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff. Raz stars as Doron Kavillio, an experienced operative repeatedly pulled into dangerous undercover missions. Netflix currently lists five seasons. Season 5 reached Netflix globally on September 8, 2026 with 11 episodes. The fifth season follows Doron after an old friend’s unsanctioned revenge mission in Marseille leads to another deep-cover operation. It addresses trauma, grief and war through fictional characters. Two sensitive episodes take place on October 7, 2023, and viewers should not treat the drama as a documentary or complete historical record.
