Ju Jingyi and Zhang Yunlong play an ambitious disciple and her laid-back immortal master in a xianxia story that turns their bond into a conflict.
A Dai (Ju Jingyi) is an orphan who persuades the immortal Xiao Yihan (Zhang Yunlong) to accept her as his disciple. At the Xianling Sect, she throws herself into lessons in immortal arts and challenges her master, gradually becoming one of the sect’s strongest fighters. Their unlikely partnership later breaks down, sending them into a pursuit shaped by affection and resentment. The drama adapts a novel by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang, who is also listed as head writer; Zhao Yilong directs. iQIYI includes the drama in its 2026 slate, but its reservation page does not give an exact premiere day. iQIYI International and WeTV have title pages for the show. Both are advance listings, not proof that episodes can already be watched everywhere. Final dates and country-by-country availability are still to be confirmed.
