Overview

Extraordinary Attorney Woo follows Woo Young-woo as she begins working at Hanbada, a large law firm in Seoul. Her legal knowledge does not spare her the challenges of a new workplace or other people's assumptions about autism. Cases involving families, businesses and local communities give her opportunities to question what colleagues and clients take for granted. Park Eun-bin plays Young-woo. Kang Tae-oh plays Lee Jun-ho, a colleague whose relationship with her becomes an important part of the story. Kang Ki-young is Jung Myeong-seok, the senior attorney who supervises her work. Director Yoo In-sik and writer Moon Ji-won balance courtroom problems with the continuing relationships around the office. The original 16-episode run began on ENA on June 29, 2022. Although individual disputes give episodes their own focus, watch in order for the family and workplace storylines. Early cases range from an elderly couple's assault case to a wedding dispute; later episodes tackle a community's fight over a planned highway. The series is fictional entertainment, not an explanation of every autistic person's experience or a source of legal advice. Netflix availability varies by country.
