Dexter Morgan and his son Harrison navigate their darkness in New York as the past catches up with them.

Dexter: Resurrection continues Dexter Morgan’s story after Dexter: New Blood. The first season begins after Dexter survives a gunshot and travels to New York City to find Harrison, while questions from his Miami past close in on him. Michael C. Hall stars as Dexter Morgan and Jack Alcott plays Harrison. Season 2 also returns Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar. New series regulars Dan Stevens and Brian Cox play the Five Borough Killer and New York Ripper; Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson play Capt. Mixon and Fiona Mixon. The Showtime original series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, with Clyde Phillips serving as showrunner and executive producer. Season 1 premiered July 11, 2025 and its directing split accounts for ten episodes. Season 2 premieres October 30, 2026 on the Paramount+ Premium Plan. Its episode count, release hour, titles, runtimes, and weekly schedule remain unannounced.
