Blade Runner 2099

Blade Runner 2099 takes place 50 years after Blade Runner 2049, in a Los Angeles rebuilt under new control. Cora, played by Hunter Schafer, is a fugitive who assumes one last identity as a Blade Runner. Her assignment forces her to work with Olwen, a replicant played by Michelle Yeoh who has only days left to live, while they hunt a runaway carrying a secret that could destabilize the city. Michelle Yeoh, Hunter Schafer, Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben are series regulars. Silka Luisa serves as showrunner, Ridley Scott is an executive producer, and Jonathan van Tulleken directs the first two episodes. The limited-series format gives the story a defined eight-episode run. Prime Video will release all eight episodes worldwide on November 25, 2026. The story continues the existing Blade Runner chronology rather than remaking either film, with Cora and Olwen introduced as new leads five decades after Blade Runner 2049.
