A Day Like No Other

A Day Like No Other, titled Aquel in Spanish, is an eight-episode biographical drama about Spanish singer Raphael. It traces his life from modest beginnings in postwar Spain through five decades of public success, private passions and personal conflict, with settings including Madrid, Las Vegas, Moscow, Paris and Acapulco. Javier Morgade portrays Raphael in his youth and Carlos Santos portrays him in maturity. Francesco Carril, Natalia Varela, Pepa Aniorte and Manolo Caro also star. Tito López Amado, Javier Pulido and Beatriz Sanchís direct from scripts by Ignacio del Moral, Paloma Rando and Adrià P. Xancó. DLO Producciones produces in association with Caracol Televisión. The series premieres exclusively on Netflix in Spain and Latin America on October 9, 2026. Netflix has not announced availability outside those regions, an exact release hour, episode titles, individual runtimes, a content rating or a confirmed release pattern for the eight episodes.
