Wicker

Wicker follows an ostracized fisherwoman in a rigid seaside village who asks the local basketmaker to weave her a husband. When the living creation becomes a devoted and unusually desirable partner, the marriage sparks gossip, jealousy, and social chaos. Olivia Colman stars as the Fisherwoman, Alexander Skarsgård plays the Wicker Husband, and Peter Dinklage plays the Basketmaker. Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson wrote and directed the adult romantic fantasy from Ursula Wills-Jones’s short story “The Wicker Husband.”
