Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell arrives in Pixie Hollow as a tinker fairy. While her friends help prepare nature for spring, she wonders whether another talent would give her a more exciting place in their world. Her attempts to change that role put the preparations at risk.

The 2008 film introduces the fairy community and the talents that shape daily life there. Rosetta, Silvermist, Iridessa, and Fawn become important friends, while Vidia is less welcoming. Tinker Bell’s impatience and inventiveness are both part of how she handles the problems she creates.

Directed by Bradley Raymond, the film features Mae Whitman as Tinker Bell. It is the best starting point for the six-film Disney Fairies sequence because it shows her first arrival and explains Pixie Hollow before the later adventures expand beyond it.
