The Man with the Bag

Santa’s iconic red bag has been stolen by a rogue elf with a grudge, putting Christmas at risk. To get it back, Santa (Arnold Schwarzenegger) recruits a thief (Alan Ritchson) from the Naughty List. The thief assembles a crew of skilled misfits, with help from elves and reindeer, for a holiday heist. As Santa’s biggest night approaches, the crew must recover the bag before Christmas. Awkwafina plays the elf who steals it; the cast also includes Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, and Ken Jeong. Adam Shankman directs from a screenplay by Allan Rice; his earlier films include Hairspray and Bedtime Stories. Schwarzenegger returns to Christmas films 30 years after Jingle All the Way, but this time he plays Santa rather than a father racing to find a sold-out toy. The official teaser arrived September 30. The Man with the Bag will premiere globally on Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
