Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is Aardman’s third Shaun feature. The residents of Mossy Bottom Farm are preparing for Halloween when the Farmer accidentally destroys the flock’s pumpkin patch. Shaun tries to fix it with a mad-science experiment. The Farmer then disappears, and a beast is said to be roaming the woods near Mossingham. The official synopsis does not reveal what the creature really is.

The trailer shows the flock working to protect the pumpkins from snails, Timmy in a sailor costume and the Vet involved in a fast boat chase. Dani Dyer voices a Mossingham influencer in her first animation voice role. Steve Cox and Matthew Walker direct from a screenplay by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow; Richard Beek produces. This is a stop-motion family comedy following Shaun the Sheep Movie and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmaggedon, and it does not require a previous film to follow the new farm mystery.

GKIDS lists a September 18, 2026 U.S. theatrical opening, while Sky announced the same date for U.K. cinemas. Showtimes vary by location. Those first-party releases have not announced a streaming date.
