Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a 2026 dark comedy thriller directed by Romain Gavras from a screenplay he wrote with Will Arbery. Chris Evans stars as Mike Tyler, a down-on-his-luck action star attending a gala hosted by billionaire Ben Bracken and Gloria, played by Vincent Cassel and Salma Hayek-Pinault. Anya Taylor-Joy plays Joan, the leader of a group that believes three people must be sacrificed to a volcano before an extinction event arrives. The cast also includes Ambika Mod, Yung Lean, Sam Richardson, Jade Croot, Miriam Silverman, Charli XCX and John Malkovich. The film was shot in Greece, Bulgaria and Iceland. It runs 1 hour and 40 minutes, is rated R and premieres on Netflix in the United States and France on October 16, 2026.
