Overview

Where to watch

Robby Hoffman: Wake Up is the comedian’s debut Netflix stand-up special. Hoffman performs an English-language set that Netflix describes as provocative comedy, with strong opinions and observations delivered directly to a live audience. This is a filmed stage performance, not a scripted film in which she plays a fictional character.

John Mulaney directs. The special was filmed at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles, a venue confirmed by the label releasing its audio edition. Netflix identifies Hoffman as the performer and Mulaney as the director.

The special was released December 14, 2025 and is currently available on Netflix in the United States. The U.S. listing carries a TV-MA rating. Netflix lists English original audio, English audio description and English subtitles.

An audio edition arrived digitally through Secretly Canadian on August 19, 2026. A limited signed double-black-vinyl edition is scheduled for October 9, 2026, with store orders shipping on or around that date. The vinyl edition is a later way to hear the same special, not the date of its Netflix premiere. Hoffman discussed the record on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 1, connecting it to her mother’s preference for physical media.
