Overview
Other Mommy is a supernatural horror film based on Josh Malerman’s novel Incidents Around the House. Jessica Chastain plays both Bela’s mother and the entity called Other Mommy, with Arabella Olivia Clark as Bela and Jay Duplass as Daddo.
Rob Savage directs from a screenplay by Nathan Elston. The announced cast also includes Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed and Karen Allen, and James Wan is among the producers.
Other Mommy opens in theaters October 9, 2026. Universal has not announced a dated streaming or digital release in the official material checked.
