Lionsgate’s live-action Naruto movie adapts Masashi Kishimoto’s manga about Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who wants to earn his village’s respect and become Hokage. Destin Daniel Cretton is writing and directing. Lionsgate opened a worldwide casting search for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura in July 2026. No cast, release date, trailer, or official plot synopsis has been announced. A September 2026 report described a first mission involving Team 7, but the studio has not confirmed that synopsis.
