Forgotten Island

Forgotten Island is a 2026 animated fantasy adventure from DreamWorks Animation. Jo and Raissa are best friends whose lives are moving in different directions when they find a portal to Nakali, a world connected to stories from Jo’s Filipino family. To return home, they may have to surrender every memory of their friendship. H.E.R. voices Jo and Liza Soberano voices Raissa. The cast also includes Dave Franco as Raww, Lea Salonga as the Manananggal, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy and Ronny Chieng. Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado wrote and directed the film, and Mark Swift produced it. Forgotten Island opens in theaters September 25, 2026, and was selected for the Tokyo International Film Festival Animation Section.
