Overview
Disclosure Day is an American, English-language science-fiction thriller directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by David Koepp. Emily Blunt plays Margaret Fairchild, a Kansas City weather presenter whose live broadcast changes her life. Josh O’Connor plays Daniel Kellner, a cybersecurity specialist who takes alien evidence from his employer, Wardex.
Colin Firth plays Wardex boss Noah Scanlon, who wants the evidence kept secret. Eve Hewson is Daniel’s girlfriend Jane Blankenship, and Colman Domingo plays Hugo Wakefield, who helps Daniel. The film was produced for Amblin Entertainment and released by Universal Pictures.
In the United States, the film is available to buy or rent digitally through stores including Apple TV and Fandango at Home. This is a separate purchase or rental, not an Apple TV subscription inclusion. Disc editions are also available. Peacock subscription streaming begins October 9, 2026; it is not available there yet as of September 27. Availability varies by country.
