Daniel and the Fiery Furnace

Daniel and the Fiery Furnace is a 2026 live-action biblical drama written and directed by Matthew and Daniel Kooman. Set during Israel’s exile in Babylon, the film follows the young prophet Daniel as he rises inside the empire ruled by King Nebuchadnezzar. When the king orders absolute worship, Daniel’s friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refuse to bow and face execution in a blazing furnace. Mena Massoud stars as Daniel and also serves as a producer. Elijah Alexander plays Nebuchadnezzar, with Sunjay Midda as Shadrach, Adam Lahraoui as Meshach, Zaki Ali as Abednego and Sophia Decaro as Susanna. Faith Films lists the movie as PG with a runtime of 1 hour 48 minutes. It opened theatrically on September 18, 2026. The official sources used here do not announce a streaming date.
