Band of Brothers: Legacy

Band of Brothers: Legacy is a documentary about the making and lasting impact of HBO’s 2001 limited series. It combines new interviews with original cast members, personal reflections and behind-the-scenes stories with unseen archival footage and photographs connected to Easy Company and World War II. Confirmed participants include Damian Lewis, Ron Livingston, Michael Cudlitz, Capt. Dale Dye, USMC (Ret.), and David Schwimmer. Former Green Beret Chase Millsap directed the Playtone production. Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are executive producers; Kirk Saduski, Richard Arlook and Sean Mullin are producers. The documentary premieres September 9, 2026, on HBO and HBO Max. It is a standalone documentary, not a second season, remake or reboot. HBO has not announced a runtime, content rating or exact premiere time in its current materials.
