Overview
Charlize Theron plays Sasha, a climber grieving the loss of her partner, Tommy, played by Eric Bana. During a solo trip through Australia, she meets Ben, a local played by Taron Egerton. His advice leads her farther into the wilderness, where he begins hunting her with a crossbow.
Apex is an English-language survival thriller directed by Baltasar Kormákur and written by Jeremy Robbins. Its outdoor action includes rock climbing, kayaking and fights in fast-moving water. The film was shot in New South Wales, Australia.
