Sleeping Dogs puts you in Hong Kong as Wei Shen, a police officer working undercover inside a triad group. He has to keep his cover while deciding how to deal with the people around him. Outside missions, you can travel across city streets and explore different districts. The story is a crime drama, but the city is also a place to drive, meet characters and take on side activities.

Fights often start at close range: Wei uses punches, counters and objects in the room. Driving and gunfire appear too. The gallery shows a fiery action scene, a tense moment inside a food shop, fast cars on a city road, a warehouse escape and a seated conversation. It gives a broader picture than five nearly identical combat shots.
United Front Games developed the original and Square Enix published it in North America on August 14, 2012 for Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The later Definitive Edition is a separate reworked release and is not the one dated here. The U.S. ESRB rated the original M (Mature 17+) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Sexual Content, Strong Language and Use of Drugs.
