Rollerdrome is a single-player action game from Roll7 that combines roller-skating with third-person shooting. You play as Kara Hassan in arenas built from ramps, rails and armed opponents. It first released on August 16, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. It is a shooter with skating mechanics, not a normal sports match or a multiplayer battle royale.

The story takes place in 2030, when powerful companies use a violent tournament to keep the public entertained. Kara is a new competitor in that tournament. Quiet spaces between matches provide a different view of the world behind the arenas and the Matterhorn corporation. The comic-book look uses strong outlines and flat colours, making characters and hazards visually different from a realistic military shooter.
Movement and shooting support each other. Defeating opponents restores health, while tricks and grinds refill ammunition. That makes ramps and rails useful during a fight, rather than scenery to skate past. Dodging, jumping and slowing the action with Reflex Time help you line up shots while staying mobile. Stopping in one place to fire ignores an important part of the game’s design.
The tournament adds tougher opponents and arena challenges as you progress. Scores reward linked actions, and online leaderboards compare results rather than placing other players in the arena with you. An unlockable Out For Blood mode offers a harder set of encounters. The official short clips illustrate the combination of aerial tricks, gunfire and evasive movement; they are not recordings of a Pixel Twelve playtest.
Private Division published the original release. Xbox Series X|S followed on November 28, 2023, while the current PC storefront credits 2K as publisher. Those later platform and publisher details do not change the game’s original 2022 release date.
