Chloe's Backtalk system makes arguments playable: responses can provoke someone or help her get what she wants. Exploration, graffiti, clothing choices and conversations give players different ways to shape her behavior. Decisions affect relationships and lead toward different endings.
Deck Nine developed this standalone prequel, with Square Enix publishing. The main story contains three episodes; Farewell is a separate bonus episode included in the Deluxe Edition. It suits players who want more of Chloe and Rachel's story rather than another adventure built around Max's time-rewind power.
