Game Overview
Into the Radius 2 is a VR survival shooter from CM Games. You play an explorer entering the Pechorsk Anomaly, an area filled with hostile creatures and strange changes in the environment. Each trip starts with a practical choice: what weapons, ammunition, food and tools can you carry, and which items are worth bringing back? You can move through open areas, search buildings, complete missions and return to your base to prepare for the next run.

The game first reached PC through Steam. It uses careful inventory handling, manual weapon maintenance and tense fights where running out of supplies can force you to retreat. The environments change between outdoor paths and abandoned structures. Official PlayStation images show the same visual direction on PS VR2, including forests, buildings, equipment and enemies. This is an atmospheric game, but it is not just a walking simulator: combat and resource management matter.
The PlayStation VR2 version was once announced for September 24, 2026. CM Games then moved that launch to October 8, 2026, citing technical certification work. The US PlayStation Store now shows October 8 at 14:00 UTC. It lists one player at launch; the developer says PS VR2 co-op is planned as a free update later in Q4, not on release day. PC and PS VR2 availability should be checked separately.
