Injustice 2 is a fighting game set in DC's superhero world. Its story continues the conflict between Batman and Superman after the first Injustice, while a new threat puts Earth in danger. The story is an alternate take on these characters rather than a game adaptation of one specific DC film.

Each fight puts one character against another. Punches, kicks, weapons and superpowers reduce the opponent's health. The playable cast includes heroes and villains with very different looks and attacks. Gear earned through play lets you change and develop a fighter, giving the game a progression system alongside the matches themselves.
NetherRealm Studios developed the original game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, released May 16, 2017. A Windows PC version followed on November 30, 2017. The later Legendary Edition is a separate package with extra characters; its contents should not be assumed to come with the original base game. The official cover shown here is the PlayStation Store's PlayStation Hits artwork for that base game.
The United States ESRB rating is T, for ages 13 and older. The rating record covers PC, PS4 and Xbox One and lists violence, blood, language, suggestive themes and an alcohol reference.
