BioShock Infinite is a first-person game set in Columbia, a city suspended in the sky. You play Booker DeWitt, who arrives with a job: find a young woman named Elizabeth and bring her out. The trip becomes much bigger as Booker learns why Elizabeth is being kept there and how the city’s factions are fighting each other. You do not need to have played the earlier BioShock games to follow this story.

In a fight, Booker can carry weapons and use Vigors—powers that can throw fire, electricity or other effects. The Sky-Line is a rail high above the streets: jumping onto it lets you move quickly between parts of an area while enemies fire from below. Elizabeth travels with Booker and can open tears that bring useful objects into a battle. Outside combat, look around Columbia’s streets and buildings for recordings and details that explain what happened there.

The original game launched on March 26, 2013, for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This is the 2013 release, not BioShock: The Collection or a later port. Its US and Canadian ESRB rating is M (Mature 17+) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Language, Mild Sexual Themes, and Use of Alcohol and Tobacco.
