Anime details
So What’s Wrong With Getting Reborn as a Goblin? is a fantasy-adventure anime based on the manga written by Nazuna Miki and drawn by Tsukasa Araki. Akira was a 29-year-old salaryman before a traffic accident sent him into another world as a goblin. Goblins there normally live only seven days, but his unique Human 80 Years skill gives him a human-length lifespan. He can inherit skills from villagers who die before him and uses his previous-life experience to organize the community. Ryota Kawahara directs at BAKKKA. Yuichiro Momose handles series composition and scripts, Hiroyuki Saita designs the characters, Hiroto Morishita directs sound and Takenoko Boy composes the music. Kikunosuke Toya voices Akira, Yoko Hikasa voices Karen and Azusa Tachibana voices Chloe. The anime begins October 5, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. JST on TOKYO MX. ABEMA and Prime Video release episodes 1 and 2 together in Japan at that time; episode 1 is simultaneous with television and episode 2 is one week ahead. BS11 and Sun TV follow later that night, and AT-X begins October 7. International streaming, the episode count and the finale date have not been announced.
