PSYREN

PSYREN is a television anime based on Toshiaki Iwashiro’s psychic battle manga. High school student Ageha Yoshina finds a red telephone card, then learns that his missing childhood friend Sakurako Amamiya carried the same kind of card. His search draws him toward a secret organization blamed for unexplained disappearances and into a life-or-death game connected to a devastated world. The anime premieres October 5, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. JST on TOKYO MX and BS11, with Sun TV listing a midnight broadcast. Crunchyroll has announced October streaming, although its episode hour and available languages remain unannounced. Katsumi Ono directs at SATELIGHT. Shin Yoshida handles series composition, Akira Okuma designs the characters, and Takashi Ohmama, Tatsuhiko Saiki and Shu Kanematsu compose the music. Rikuya Yasuda and Mayuko Kazama lead the cast as Ageha and Sakurako. The episode count, cour structure, ending theme and season end date remain unconfirmed.
