Overview

Where to watch

I’m Looking for a Zombie follows Aki, a girl born after an infection devastated humanity thirteen years earlier. She has never known the world before the disaster. Leaving the village where she grew up, she sets out with Natsuki and Haru to find her missing father. Yu and Sakura join the travelers as the group learns to survive outside the villages. The television anime adapts Katsuwo’s manga from KADOKAWA. Studio Comet produces the animation, Shinya Une directs, and Kenichi Yamashita and Aki Itami handle the series writing. Narumi Shimoji is the character designer and Kenta Higashoji provides the music. The English episode-one cast features Madeline Dorroh, Arianna Contardo, Blythe Melin, Giselle Fernandez and Anairis Quiñones, with Christopher W. Jones as Dad. VSI Los Angeles produces that dub under director Gavin Cooper Harrison. Where to watch in North America, including the United States: Crunchyroll has announced an October 3, 2026 premiere for the Japanese version and the English dub’s first episode. An exact release hour and subsequent weekly dub schedule have not been announced. In Japan, TV Asahi begins its Saturday broadcast at 23:30 JST on October 3. ABEMA and d Anime Store start at midnight after the broadcast, while other listed Japanese services follow from midnight after October 8. These Japanese services do not confirm availability elsewhere.
