EAT-MAN The Over Order

EAT-MAN The Over Order is a completely new anime story based on Akihito Yoshitomi’s science-fiction manga. Bolt Crank is a mysterious explorer who travels for work without revealing his past or goal. He can eat metal and reproduce it as weapons or equipment. Yoshitomi writes the scripts and supplies the original design concepts. Director Shunji Oga describes The Over Order as an original story, and Yoshitomi identifies it as the third EAT-MAN anime adaptation. Masashi Ebara returns to voice Bolt after playing him in the earlier anime. Shunji Oga directs at Studio Cab, with Satoshi Hirayama designing the characters. The project was announced on September 10, 2026 with a 20-second teaser and a key visual drawn by Yoshitomi. Its release date, broadcaster, streaming service, episode count, supporting cast, music and detailed plot remain unannounced.
