Bride of the Barrier Master

Bride of the Barrier Master follows Hana Ichise, a young woman born into a branch of a family that protects one of Japan’s five pillar stones. She grows up being compared with her talented twin sister, Hazuki, and continues to be treated as a weak barrier master even after awakening a much greater power. Hana hides that ability because she wants a quiet life. Saku Ichinomiya, the young head of the main Ichinomiya family, discovers the truth and asks her to marry him. Their relationship pulls Hana into the responsibilities and danger surrounding the barrier-master families. Toru Kitahata directs at TROYCA, with scripts led by Yuko Kakihara and character designs by Minami Murayama. The anime adapts Kureha’s light novel and begins airing in January 2027, with Netflix and other streaming services listed by the official production.
