BLESS

Overview

BLESS follows Aia Udagawa and Jun Sumisaki as a school-festival runway contest brings their private ambitions into the open. Aia is a former model who has put aside his interest in becoming a makeup artist. Jun is a classmate who wants to model but is uncomfortable with attention to her height and freckles. Entering as a stylist-and-model pair gives both of them a reason to try. The anime adapts Yukino Sonoyama’s manga, published in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius. Its cast includes Tomohiro Ono as Aia, Chiyuki Miura as Jun, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ginga Yoyogi, Yoshino Aoyama as Oroka Sumeragi, Momoka Terasawa as Shitataka Sumeragi and Kentaro Kumagai as MM. MM is the working adult in Mirror, whose nickname came from the Sumeragi sisters. A-1 Pictures produces the adaptation. Shotaro Kitamura directs, Fukuro Kamiza handles series composition and scripts, and Honoka Yokoyama designs the characters. Akane Takeda designs costumes, and Katsuyoshi Kojima (tron) supervises hair and makeup. The confirmed premiere window is January 2027 on Fuji TV’s nationwide Noitamina block in Japan. This is an upcoming television broadcast, not current streaming availability. No exact premiere day, international streaming service or U.S. age classification has been announced.
