Aoashi Season 2 follows Ashito Aoi after his promotion to Tokyo City Esperion’s A team. The stronger players and faster practices challenge him from the start. Akutsu, Kuribayashi, Otomo, Tachibana and coach Fukuda return as the team moves into the youth Premier League. The anime adapts Yugo Kobayashi’s manga. The season has 24 episodes in total. Its first 12-episode part begins on NHK E in Japan on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 5 p.m. Japan time. A start date for the remaining 12 episodes has not been announced. Crunchyroll lists the season for October 4 with subtitles in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, India and Southeast Asia. Its exact subtitle release time and dub date are still TBA. This is future availability, not a claim that Season 2 is streaming now. TMS Entertainment animates Season 2, following Production I.G’s work on Season 1. Kazuki Yokoyama directs, with Masahiro Yokotani handling series composition. Kouki Ohsuzu voices Ashito, Shunsuke Takeuchi voices Akutsu and Yuichiro Umehara voices Kuribayashi. 10-FEET perform the opening “Fortress Defense” and Ai Higuchi performs the ending “Triangle” for the first part.
